In his video tutorials Nicolas Collins explains how to experiment with electronic soundmaking. No prior knowledge on electronics is required to start experimenting with noises that emerge from simple electronic circuits or hacked electronic devices. During the adventurous process of investigating and laying hands on electronics in order to create and make noises by yourself, childlike curiosity arises. And in the course of this playful exploration you get an introduction to basic electronics.

The first video shows how to build a standalone circuit that produces irritating sounds, while the second video shows how to hack a portable radio and transform it into a simple electronic instrument that you play by laying your fingers on it.
